Meaning of Life - God's purpose and man's destiny

Episode 1 - The beginning
God’s ultimate purpose and pleasure in creation, which he purposed in himself from before the world began, and declared in his written counsel, is to provide eternal life for us, his creatures, so we can enjoy the eternal perfect love of our Creator, together with all those who love him, in his perfect kingdom of heaven and earth, for ever and ever !!
God has the wisdom, love, foreknowledge and power to ensure his counsel, as written in the Bible, will stand, despite all evil opposition (which he foreknew and planned to turn for good, to ensure all will be fulfilled).
Episode 2 - Pride before Lucifer's Fall
The counsel of God versus the stated ambitions of Lucifer. Setting the scene for the epic spiritual battle that has been the backdrop and determinant of human history, since ancient times until now, and which will determine our eternal destiny.
This Episode explains who Lucifer is, his original privileged position as the anointed cherub, how he became Satan, the adversary of God, and the tactics he uses to pursue his goals, in direct opposition to God.
Having set his heart to be like The Most High, and to be worshiped in the temple of God, on the sides of the north, in Jerusalem, with dominion over the whole earth, we see how Satan ruthlessly uses men to achieve his goals. We also see, in this Episode 2, God's commitment, wisdom, power and resolve to ensure his counsel will stand, in which Jesus Christ will reign from Jerusalem. The episode concludes with a summary of the fall of Lucifer, judgment on the world that then was, followed by the so-called 6 days of creation, culminating in the creation of Adam & Eve (prior to Adam's fall).
Episode 3 - Adam's fall and the beginning of the course of this world.
Answers the question - If God is good, wise, and powerful, why does evil exist?
This episode looks at the fall of Adam, in the Garden of Eden, and it explains the eternal purpose in having knowledge of both good and evil. Nothing has taken God by surprise - he has the foreknowledge, power and resolve to bring about his perfect kingdom, in heaven and earth, in which he has promised eternal life to all who believe him. In this age of grace, God has written in his word that salvation is by his grace alone, through faith in the fact that Christ died for our sins, was buried and raised again, for our justification.
It's not too late to be saved from judgment and the wrath to come upon the earth, and from the eternal lake of fire and brimstone which has been prepared for the devil, his angels, and for all who reject the truth and love of God. Meaning of Life - Episode 1 summary.
The Beginning
From his habitation of Eternity, the Triune God purposed in Himself, to create all things by Jesus Christ; and for his pleasure, they were created. He is the great “I AM”, from everlasting to everlasting, not constrained by time, and therefore unique in his foreknowledge; able to declare from ancient times, and have written in the Bible, those things that had not yet come to pass.
History already attests to God’s ability, and resolve, to ensure his written counsel will stand, and he will do all his pleasure.
Nothing has taken him by surprise, and he turns evil opposition to work for good, so all he has written will come to pass.
From before the world began, God promised eternal life. In his great wisdom, he devised a plan to make that possible, through Christ’s death, burial and resurrection; and to create an eternal kingdom in heaven and earth, where he and all created beings who have believed him, will enjoy perfect love for ever and ever.
In that kingdom, there will be no death, sorrow, crying, or pain. Instead, its inhabitants will enjoy eternal charity (true love), righteousness, peace, and joy, in the presence of their Lord God and Saviour, together with all who love him. This has been God’s purpose for his creation, since before the world began; and it will, indeed, bring the enduring pleasure that he intended.
Until he revealed it to the Apostle Paul, the planned will of God was a mystery, which he kept hid in himself; for had the rulers of this world known, they would not have crucified Christ. But now, the mystery of God is revealed; it is written in the Bible, so all men can see that according to God’s good pleasure, which he purposed in himself, he will bring all things in heaven and earth together in Christ.
This is why Adam was created, and why Christ had to suffer and die, so that he could fulfill his promise of eternal life for all who believe. His counsel will stand, as written, and he will do all his pleasure.
